mode or
modal class is the value or class that occurs the most frequently in the data set.
The
median is the middle value when the values in the data set are placed in order. The middle value is given by \(\dfrac{n+1}{2}\).
The
mean (\(\bar{x}\)) is the average value of the data set, and is calculated by \(\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{x}}{n}\).
The mean of data in a grouped frequency table is calculated by: \(\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{fx}}{\sum{f}}\).
