These Terms and Conditions are dated 12 August 2020.
In the following agreement, StudyDex is referred to as "us", "our" or "we" and the student, parent/guardian, or any other person/entity responsible for booking and paying for the online group tuition is referred to as "you" or "your".
By signing up to our online group tuition, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Parental or legal guardian permission must be obtained for any student attending any of our online sessions. By topping up hours and booking an online session, you agree you have parental or legal guardian permission to do so.
Our tutors have many years of experience and are confident in their ability to teach. However, StudyDex and our tutors make no promises or warranties with regards to the students' examination performance as a result of any teaching and/or resources provided on our online sessions.
We reserve the right to change the advertised online session time, giving reasonable notice to all attending students. We also reserve the right to change the advertised tutors if necessary.
We make every effort to ensure that any resources and content delivered by our tutors are accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that this will be entirely error free or complete. Under no circumstances shall StudyDex be liable for any loss, damage, liability or expense incurred or suffered which is claimed to have resulted from any resources and content provided on our online sessions.
In order to book online sessions, students must have available hours. Hours can be topped up in quantities of 1, 5 or 20. Hours are non-refundable, so students should think carefully about which sessions they would like to attend and only top up as many hours as is necessary.
Students can book sessions through our online booking system. Upcoming planned sessions are listed on the timetable, and the content of the lesson is clearly displayed. Students are able to book sessions up to one hour before the session starts.
Students can cancel sessions through our online booking system at any time, up to 24 hours before a session starts, to allow other students the opportunity to book. All sessions are recorded, so even if you miss a session, you can still catch up by reviewing the video of the session.
Topped up hours are non-refundable*, so students are encouraged to consider the relevance of upcoming sessions and only top up as many hours as is necessary to attend selected sessions.
*We reserve the right to review this refund policy on a case by cases basis in exceptional circumstances.
