#7 Calculate mean, mode and median

The bmode/b or bmodal class/b is the value or class that occurs the most frequently in the data set.

The bmedian/b is the middle value when the values in the data set are placed in order. The middle value is given by (\dfrac{n+1}{2}).

The bmean/b ((\bar{x})) is the average value of the data set, and is calculated by (\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{x}}{n}).

The mean of data in a grouped frequency table is calculated by: (\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{fx}}{\sum{f}}).

[b]uMean[/u]/b

(\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{x}}{n})

[b]uMean (grouped frequency table)[/u]/b

(\bar{x} = \dfrac{\sum{fx}}{\sum{f}})
